MARATHON SESSIONS OF DIFFERENT DEPARTMENTS TO REVIEW 100 DAYS PLAN IN PUNJAB

SENIOR MINISTER ASKED FOR SOLID PROPOSALS IN 2 WEEKS FOR APPROVAL OF PM

LAHORE, SEPT. 07:  Punjab Government would extend visible relief under the umbrella of 100 days plan and as per vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan change would be seen and every sector will have to perform actively in minimum possible time. This was expressed by Senior Provincial Minister Abdul Aleem Khan while presiding over review meetings of different departments held at 90 Shara-e-Quaid-e-Azam where concerned Provincial Minister and Secretary of the Department were also present.  Abdul Aleem Khan held marathon sessions of Health, Education, Labor, Home, Agriculture, Tourism and other departments and asked them to come with solid proposals within 2 weeks so that short and long term planning could be evolved accordingly.  He told that the experts’ team constituted by the Prime Minister would also be coordinating and providing its consultancy for the betterment of performance. Senior Minister said that present government has aim of introducing revolutionary steps for educational institutions, hospitals, civic institutions and immediate steps will be taken to provide jobs, houses, law and order and better environment . He said that those departments needing more budgets would be provided extra funds but performance would also be gauged accordingly. He added that all the departments will also ensure austerity and no funds will be allowed to be wasted.
Reviewing different projects of the departments of Punjab, Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan directed that in health sector provision of 100 per cent free medicines in emergency departments and issuance of health cards in all the districts of Punjab would be immediate steps by the present government. Similarly, Education Department should take immediate steps for choosing 100 schools to be made role model for other institutions. He also directed Labor, Agriculture and Tourism Departments to take steps for change in their performance so that people may realize the difference. Abdul Aleem Khan said that all the public sectors organizations should make their working online and computerized so that access of the people to the government data may be ensured and they can get remedy at home. Senior Minister told that Punjab Government is in the process of first 100 days’ planning which would clear our direction. Abdul Aleem Khan said that Prime Minister Imran Khan will fulfill each and every promise made with the public and his team members are also working day and night to make it a success. No hurdle can stop us to act upon the vision of our Prime Minister and provide maximum facilities to the masses, Abdul Aleem Khan concluded.
