PUNJAB GOVT. TO SOLVE PROBLEMS OF JOURNALIST COMMUNITY – SENIOR MINISTER

LAHORE, September 13: Senior Minister Punjab Abdul Aleem Khan has said that throughout Punjab grand operation would be launched soon and all encroachments would be removed without any discrimination. He added that all the real structure of all the towns and buildings would be restored and big mafias would be brought in to book in this regard. Senior Minister disclosed while talking in the luncheon hosted in honor of the office bearers of Lahore Press Club.  He said that everyone would be given one week time and very after ‘ ashura ‘ this drive to take place in all the cities of Punjab where district administration  to ensure 100 per cent result for removing encroachments. Abdul Aleem Khan said that present Government under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan has given first 100 days plan aimed at opening new avenues for common man. He said that in the biggest province of country, Punjab, comprehensive strategy has been evolved to start new era in different sectors and he himself holding meetings with different departments in this regard. Abdul Aleem Khan accepted the invitation to visit Lahore Press Club and attend Meet the Press there. He assured his full cooperation to solve the present issues of the Club and said that Punjab Government would fully support them in providing them all possible help. Senior Minister also offered his support in Journalist Colony and Lahore Press Club problems. He said that his doors are open for all round the clock and he would also talk to Chief Minister Punjab and Finance Minister to resolve the pending affairs of them.

President Lahore Press Club Azam Chaudhry briefed the Senior Minister on increase in grant for Club, Journalist Colony land grabbing and development work in F block and expressed hope that present Government would take special interest to solve their genuine problems. Other office bearers of Lahore Press Club and Members of Governing Body were also present who expressed their thanks for hosting reception by Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan. Provincial Ministers Mian Khalid Mahmood and Sahibzada Saeed ul Hassan also attended the meeting.
