DIRECTIONS GIVEN FOR REMOVAL OF ENCROACHMENTS & PARK BY SENIOR MINISTER

LAHORE, OCTOBER 28 : Senior Minister Punjab Abdul Aleem Khan has announced to built guest house for general public outside of Mazar of Syed Ali Hajveri ( Data Sahib ) where at 2 kanal space 300 guests can stay and all the expenses of construction and providing food stuff will be from his own pocket. He disclosed this while visiting outside Mazar of Data Sahab where LDA authorities gave him detailed briefing in which he told that Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan has given directions to immediately construct 5 guest houses in different areas of Lahore City. Abdul Aleem Khan said that this guest house will be gift from the citizens of Lahore for all the persons coming here from different cities. He told that separate arrangements for ladies will also be there and within 2 months work would be completed while Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate this guest house. Senior Minister directed LDA authorities to complete other 4 guest’s houses also and make them state of the art with all daily facilities available for there. Abdul Aleem Khan also took round of the areas and directed the concerned authorities to immediately remove all encroachments around the Mazar and construct beautiful park there. He directed the Solid Waste Management section to ensure cleanliness work on permanent basis and create healthy atmosphere around this sacred area. DG LDA Amna Imran, Chief Engineer and other senior officers were present in the briefing while MD Solid Waste Management Farrukh Qayyum, GM Operations Sohail Malik were also present on this occasion.

Talking to media, Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan asked the opposition to refrain from confrontation and play their democratic role. He said that protest is not an easy job and those who always remained in power cannot face the consequences as PTI did in its political struggle. Abdul Aleem Khan said that Speaker Punjab Assembly Ch. Pervaiz Elahi is a veteran politician having wisdom and open heart and he gave much space to opposition if such behavior has been done in National Assembly the opposition would be facing more dire consequences there. Replying a question, Abdul Aleem Khan said that in the past all the “thieves” were gathered under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif and now they are being guided by Zardari Sahab. He said that Maulana Fazal ur Rehman should not play the role of mediator between two big thieves and should tarnish his remaining image as he has already lost a lot being the diesel fame. Senior Minister said that the present government has taken good start and in the coming five years all the promises would be fulfilled. On another question, Senior Minister told that operation against encroachments is being taken in full swing however no action will be taken against any katchi abadi or any poor person and only mafia grabbing state land for commercial purposes would be hit in this regard.
