NO MORE KICKBACKS, NEW PROJECTS WITH COLLABORATION OF CHINA SOON

LAHORE, OCTOBER 24: Senior Minister Punjab Abdul Aleem Khan has said that including China foreign investment in Punjab would be welcomed with new vision and clarity in the system. He added that sustainable development in Punjab is the need of the hour and Chinese companies would be provided all out opportunities to come forwarded and invest on BOT basis in developmental projects. He expressed this while talking to the heads of different Chinese companies here in his office who called on him here today in his office. Abdul Aleem Khan expressed hope that the upcoming tour of Prime Minister Imran Khan to China would open new avenues for bilateral relations and strengthening friendship between both the countries. He offered the Chinese entrepreneurs to come forward with full faith as they would be given practical cooperation and there would be no red tapism for them and they would be getting change in every sector. 
Senior Minister welcomed Chinese investment companies’ offer for investing in different sectors and said that now no one will have to pay any kick back and transparent deals will be undertaken to start new projects in Punjab. Abdul Aleem Khan said that presently facing difficulties would be resolved in the short span of time and especially in Punjab new avenues would be sorted for investment which would also provide job opportunities to the youth. Abdul Aleem Khan expressed hope during the present regime Pak China friendship would be further extended and will add new chapters in this regard. Senior Minister discussed with the Chinese delegation different aspects of new investment projects in Irrigation, Energy, Infrastructure, Electric Power, Municipal Services and other sectors and assured his full cooperation in this regard. He said that Punjab would be playing its vibrant role in the development sector and in the coming days this province would on the top for economic growth of the country.  Abdul Aleem Khan assured the Chinese delegate’s full security and liaison from the Punjab Government and said that these new projects would further strengthen bilateral cooperation between Pakistan and China. In the meeting the representatives of China Water Resources, China Pak Energy Investment, China Machinery Engineering and China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation told Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan about the investment volume their companies want to spend in Punjab in different sectors and thanked for the hospitality offered to them by his office. Deputy Chief of China Electric Power Le Hui and Vice General Manager Ma Desheng informed the Senior Minister about their interest and starting new projects in different sectors of Punjab.
