SENIOR MINISTER & MINISTER FINANCE TOOK PART IN CLEANLINESS DRIVE

LAHORE, OCT. 13: Senior Minister Punjab Abdul Aleem Khan has said that the dream of Clean & Green Pakistan of Prime Minister Imran Khan will become true and maximum awareness will be created among masses to keep their surroundings neat all the time. He added that clean environment is the basic right of every citizen and for this purpose everyone will have also to play role. He expressed these views while talking to the media after planting tree here today. Minister Finance Hashim Jawan Bakhat was also present on this occasion. Abdul Aleem Khan said that without the participation of public no campaign can be successful and there is maximum room for planting more trees in every city. He said that unfortunately in Pakistan we have very less percentage of forests pollution rate is very high while we are caught of smog every year. Senior Minister said that in the present circumstances it is also harmful for the health of general public not to control the pollution. He said that Prime Minister Imran Khan intends to undertake successful campaign of tree plantation like KPK and we all should take part fully in this ongoing campaign. Abdul Aleem Khan said that in Punjab serious steps are being taken to plant as much as more trees and make the environment healthy for the coming generation. 
Punjab Minister for Finance Hashim Jawan Bakhat also took part in planting the tree along with Senior Minister. Talking to media he said that inflation is the “gift “of the last government and we are trying hard to overcome the situation. Replying a question, Abdul Aleem Khan said that in Punjab no Parliamentary Secretary has been appointed so far and soon decision will be taken in this regard. Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan also planted a tree and took part in the drive of cleanliness.
Earlier, Senior Minister Punjab Abdul Aleem Khan was called on by Finance Minister Hashim Jawan Bakhat. In this meeting both discussed the matters relating to the supplementary budget of Punjab, finance situation of province and annual development program. In the meeting projects like Orange Line Train came also under discussion while pace of work and feedback from departments of 100 days’ plan was also discussed.
