LAHORE, NOV. 09: Senior Minister Punjab Abdul Aleem Khan has said that big projects would be started in Punjab to produce electricity and energy in Punjab and for this purpose including China foreign companies would be invited. He expressed this while talking to the delegation of Bureau Group Company of China in which detailed discussion was held to work in waste management, low cost housing, infrastructure and other sectors of Punjab. Abdul Aleem Khan said that China has great contribution in Pakistan and recent tour of Prime Minister Imran Khan has opened new avenues in this regard. He said that in the coming days more bilateral relations would be developed and all out cooperation would be offered to the organizations intend to work here in Punjab. Senior Minister asked the Chinese companies to come up with full confidence and work in their respective fields they would be given all out security. He assured that now there would be no kick back and work would be done with transparency. Abdul Aleem Khan said that through 100 days’ plan strategy is being evolved to ensure sustainable and long term development in the province.
In the meeting, Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan offered the Chinese delegation for investing in Punjab in waste management, low cost housing, infrastructure and other fields. He said that Imran Khan has aim to establish corruption free society for which practical work has already been started. He said that through new Local Bodies System in Punjab speedy and local development would be there in the province. He said that apart from China other countries are also interested in investing in important sectors of Punjab which would bring new developments for the masses.
On this occasion, Chinese delegation expressed its deep interest in waste management, infrastructure, low cost housing and other sectors for which reasonable size of investment would be made in Punjab. They also expressed hope that after the induction of new government in Punjab more developmental activities would be managed.
