VISION OF IMRAN KHAN TO REFLECT IN 100 DAYS’ PLAN IN PUNJAB-ABDUL ALEEM KHAN

LAHORE, NOV. 08: Senior Minister Punjab Abdul Aleem Khan has said that vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan will reflect in 100 Days’ Plan in Punjab and effective planning has been made in 16 main departments of the province. He expressed this while presiding over a special meeting Prime Minister Reforms Team and Special Monitoring Unit Punjab in which pace of work was reviewed on work done so far. Senior Minister said that Punjab and Federal Governments have close liaison for implementation on the directions given by Prime Minister and monitoring unit should review the progress of 70 days work done in different fields. Abdul Aleem Khan said that revolutionary steps are being taken to come up to the expectations of the masses and we would not only cut the tape but will also work practically in the field. He told that so far in 16 different departments of Punjab and concrete steps are being taken in Health, Education, Agriculture, Livestock, Tourism, Forests, Industries, Housing and clean drinking water sectors where targets have been fixed for the coming 5 years. Abdul Aleem Khan said that unfortunately corruption has rooted in all the departments and we have to work for the change of system while living in the same system which is indeed a difficult task. Senior Minister called upon the government officers and officials to change themselves and come out of the traditional style and work for the change in their department with new vision as they will be given full support and security, as well.
In the meeting, Prime Minister Reforms Team apprised about the performance of different departments and specially focused the Punjab Government. Special Monitoring Unit also highlighted important sectors of Punjab and gave its input for introducing reforms in important sectors. Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan appreciated the hard work being done by both the groups and called upon them to work with coordination and assured them his all out cooperation. Head of Special Monitoring Unit Fazeel Asif also gave briefing in this meeting.
