LOCAL BODIES INSTITUTIONS TO BE STRENGTHENED AS PER VISION OF PM-ABDUL ALEEM KHAN

LAHORE, JANUARY 18:  Senior Minister Punjab Abdul Aleem Khan playing active role on political fronts as well and after the joining of 14 district councils chairmen from Punjab now the Municipal Committee Chairman of Muzafargarh Akram Khan Chandia has also met him and announced his participation in the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaaf. He met Senior Minister yesterday at Chief Minister House along with two MPAs Auon Hameed Dogar and Raza Bokhari where he was wore with PTI flag and Akram Khan Chandia formally joined Tehrik-e-Insaaf. Welcoming him in the party, Abdul Aleem Khan assured that as per vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan, local body’s institutions in Punjab would be fully empowered. He said that in the past the nawaz league put the local body’s institutions toothless only to strengthen one man show in Punjab. Senior Minister said that the representative of nawaz league is themselves not satisfied with the system and they want to change it. He claimed that elected representatives of people at local level would be in better position to solve their problems quickly. Abdul Aleem Khan said that the Chief Minister Punjab also striving hard to ensure prompt development in the province and for this purpose day and night efforts are being made. Abdul Aleem Khan said that comprehensive recommendations are being made for the next local bodies set up in Punjab and deliberations are at the final stage to prepare new set up for the province. Senior Minister said that present government has started to take practical steps in every field as per the ground realities and its positive results would also come very soon.
Meanwhile, Senior Minister Punjab Abdul Aleem Khan arranged tour of inside Lahore for the guests of Inter-Provincial meeting. He led KPK and Baluchistan Ministers to Mazar-e-Iqbal where all the participants offered fateha. Abdul Aleem Khan also hosted dinner in honor of the distinguished guests at Royal Kitchen where they were served with the traditional food while cultural show also took place. Sardar Mohammad Saleha Bhotani from Baluchistan and Shahram Khan Tarkai from KPK offered heartfelt thanks to Abdul Aleem Khan for this hospitality and said that they would be leaving with great memories. Mohammad Saleha Bhotani also invited Senior Minister Punjab Abdul Aleem to visit Quetta in near future which he accepted. All the guests enjoyed the journey of traditional horse carts and they visited different areas of walled city of Lahore.
