CLARIFICATION OF SPOKESMAN OF ABDUL ALEEM KHAN OVER PRESS RELEASE OF NAB

LAHORE, FEB. 06: Spokesman of Abdul Aleem Khan has given clarification over the press release of NAB and said that matter of Park View Cooperative Housing Society was never mentioned till date in the investigations held. Spokesman added that Abdul Aleem Khan has already added his assets; his name was not included in the list of Panama leaks. It was further clarified that Abdul Aleem Khan attended all the call notices of NAB and provided all the documents well in time as and when demanded. It is also questionable that all the record of offshore companies is already at abroad and how it can be tampered? Similarly, land indicated by NAB by company A&A was sold out in 2006 for which all the money trail was also provided by Abdul Aleem Khan. Spokesman said that apparently arrest of Abdul Aleem Khan has no logic but he has great and high regards for Courts and it is hoped that justice would be done. However, question arises that on the allegations of 2005-06 why the investigations have been started after 15 years as if something was done wrong why it was waited for such long time as it was only due to contesting by-elections in 2015 and taking part to support PTI and Imran Khan and nawaz league lodged complaint after such long time, the spokesman concluded.
