Senior Minister Punjab Abdul Aleem Khan, in his message, on the occasion of 10th Muharram ul Haram said that the grandson of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) sacrificed lives for the sake of truth and justice. That in the battle of truth and falsehood in the field of Karbala, the principle and the Islamic position were of real importance, not numbers, he added. Abdul Aleem Khan said tha the real teachings of Islam are to stand firm in the face of falsehood without any fear or danger. Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan said that the grandson of the Prophet (PBUH) along with 72 martyrs taught human history how to survive and we should all pledge to follow the true message driven by those sacrifices. He said that we must stand firm against the forces of anti Islam. Abdul Aleem Khan appealed that on the occasion of Ashura, we should all pledge security and mutual unity of the country and the nation to spread the message of Islam beyond sectarian differences. Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan further said that despite the passage of 1400 years, the spirit of the message for which Imam Hussain and his companions fought this battle is still alive today and will not be forgotten till the end of time.
