Senior Minister directed wasa, mcl & agencies to hold joint meeting

Senior Minister Punjab Abdul Aleem Khan has directed that integrated planning should be ensured and related agencies be on the same page to make development works as useful as possible, especially before construction of the new roads so that all concerned issues could be settled at a once.
     While presiding over the review meeting of developmental works in different areas of NA-129 and PP-157 & PP-158 on Sunday, Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan said that tenders for Zarar Shaheed Road Lahore Cantt have been approved which would be constructed at a cost of Rs. 16.5 crore while Baja Line Road will be completed at a cost of Rs. 55 lacs, soon. He said that a grant of Rs. 10 crore would be spent in PP-158 while development schemes of Rs. 4.25 crore have been allocated for PP-157. The additional grant of Rs. 5.25 crore will be spent in NA-129 to solve public problems. Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan said that sewerage, pcc and road carpeting works in different areas of NA-129 are being carried out on priority basis. He directed Wasa, MCL and Cantonment Board to hold Joint meeting to resolve road construction issues well before time. He directed that the development works could be improved as much as possible. Abdul Aleem Khan told that developmental projects have been completed in different areas including Basti Syedan ​​Shah, Mian Mir Colony, Qasim Pura and Shah Jamal while Dharmapura, Gondi Pir, Jinnah Park and Ahata Molchand areas are being also uplifted and their development schemes are also in the pipeline. Abdul Aleem Khan said that these development projects are of equal importance to all areas of NA-129 and PP-157 and 158 beyond political affiliation with the aim of alleviating the hardships of the citizens.
    On this occasion, Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan was given briefing by the coordinators about the pace of work on development projects in their respective areas and details of projects completed so far was told accordingly.
