EVERY PENNY TO BE SPENT METICULOUSLY: A. ALEEM KHAN
Senior Minister Punjab Abdul Aleem Khan has said that the Government money to be spent on public welfare projects is the trust of the people and its meticulously usage will be ensured at all cost. He added that he himself is supervising the developmental work in the constituency and no negligence will be tolerated in this regard. Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan assured that the process of making development projects as useful as possible to the common man and completion of all the works in time and on a long-term basis is vital. He expressed these views while talking in a briefing given by party workers and local leaders of NA-129 and PP-158 regarding the development schemes of these areas. Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan said that under the Community Development Program (CDP), a significant amount of Rs.10 crore is being spent annually while special funds are being provided for various development works including construction of streets & roads, sewerage, water supply and carpeting work for which party workers should also play their role for their in time completion.
Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan was informed about the development projects of NA-129 and PP-158. He was told that 70 per cent work of Zarrar Shaheed Road project of worth Rs. 150 million has been completed and carpeting work of Baja Line Road at a cost of Rs.15 million is also underway while a major sewerage line is being laid on Guja Pir Road at a cost of Rs. 10 million. He was further informed that a new sewerage line has been laid on the road of Government Arif High School Dharampura and wall to wall carpeting has been done. Development work is also in full swing in Mustafaabad, Gulistan & Fazilia Colony and Garhi Shahu area, Senior Minister was briefed. Local party leaders Raja Shehzad, Ustad Rashid, Mian Amir Khalil, Taqi Shah, Munir Aftab Bhatti, Mian Kashif, Sheikh Imran and Kashif Hafeez have expressed their thanks to Senior Minister Punjab Abdul Aleem Khan for his cooperation extended in this regard. They said that for the first time development work in line with modern requirements is being carried out in these areas which has provided significant facilities to the citizens. They also informed Senior Minister Punjab Abdul Aleem Khan about different hurdles being faced in some areas for developmental projects.
